1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Calgary Trade HQ website at calgarytradehq.ca (the Directory), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Directory. These terms apply to all visitors, businesses listed in the Directory, and businesses that submit information through the site.

2. About the Directory

Calgary Trade HQ is a local business directory for trade and contractor businesses serving the Calgary area. Listings may be sourced from publicly available data or submitted directly by business owners. We review submissions before publishing but do not independently verify every piece of information in each listing.

3. Accuracy of listings

We strive to maintain accurate and current listings, but we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or up to date. Calgary Trade HQ is not responsible for errors or omissions in any listing, or for any loss or damage arising from reliance on listing information. If you find an error in your business listing, please contact us to have it corrected.

4. Business submissions

If you submit your business to the Directory, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your business
• Keep your listing information current and notify us of any material changes
• Not submit misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information
• Not submit a listing for a business you do not represent

We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any submission that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inaccurate, inappropriate, or in violation of these terms.

5. Listing removal requests

If your business is listed in the Directory and you wish to have your listing removed or modified, email us at listings@calgarytradehq.ca. We will process your request within 5 business days.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Directory to:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data without our written consent
• Submit spam, fake listings, or misleading content
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Directory
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
• Use the Directory for any unlawful purpose under applicable Canadian law

7. Intellectual property

The Calgary Trade HQ name, logo, site design, and original content are our intellectual property. Business listing information (names, addresses, phone numbers) is factual in nature and is not claimed as our original creative work. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute the site's design or original content without our written permission.

8. No endorsement

A listing in the Calgary Trade HQ directory is not an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty of any business, its services, quality, or reputation. We encourage you to conduct your own due diligence before engaging any trade or contractor business.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calgary Trade HQ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Directory or your reliance on any listing information. This includes, without limitation, any disputes between you and a listed business.

10. Links to third-party sites

The Directory may link to external websites (business websites, maps, etc.). We have no control over and take no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Directory after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
